Just a quick note to offer my apologies to GTI Home Exchange members and readers of the GTI Home Exchange weblog for the fact that there have been no additions to the weblog over the past 10 days. I have had a short spell in hospital experiencing at first hand the quality of the French Health System. The care I was given in the Neurological Unit of the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Limoges by a young Professeur Neurosurgeon and his young Japanese Doctor assistant was second to none and the nursing and other staff of the hospital were excellent and very kind. The French should be justifiably proud of their 'Services Medicales' and anyone coming to visit for a holiday or live in the country may have no qualms about what care and attention they would receive in the event of need.
